Installation Instructions

Windows:
|

After downloading, double click the exe file.
|
|
Mac OS X:
|

After downloading, double click the DMG file.

In the Finder window that appears double-click the installer application.
|
|
Linux/Solaris:
|

After downloading open a shell and, cd to the directory where you downloaded the installer.

Give the current user execute permissions to the installer with: chmod 700 setup_ss_basic.sh
-
If you are installing in an environment that is running Xwindows, type: ./setup_ss_basic.sh. If your environment is GUI-less, type: ./setup_ss_basic.sh -c.

Upgrading
|
- Simply select "Check For Updates" from the "Options" menu. If an upgrade is available screen-scraper will download and install it automatically.
